The Warm UP

The frigid weather is goneā€¦for now. After a historic winter, which still has a few weeks left, we are slowly getting some sunshine and warmer temperatures. With all of this in mind, let's not forget how important an active warm-up is prior to exercise or weight lifting! Performing an active warm-up or dynamic stretching before you begin exercise is critical - as jumping straight into those... well, box jumps, squats, or quick 3 miles around the neighborhood without any type of warm-up can lead to injury! Of course, Texas heat usually does a good job providing us with a natural muscle primer during most of the year, but it's always a smart idea to implement an actual warm-up before knocking out that workout!

We would be "AMPT" to see you at our clinic, but we would rather do the best we can at preventing injury so you can continue to enjoy all of your favorite activities!
